Connect Facebook and Instagram

Authorize an eligible Page or Instagram account, understand what BrokeryHub stores, publish responsibly, and disconnect or delete your data.

Updated October 30, 2026

Before connecting

Use a Facebook profile with sufficient access to the agent or brokerage Page. Confirm who owns the Page and who is responsible for reviewing real estate advertising before enabling publishing. To publish to Instagram, the Instagram account must be a professional account linked to that Page.

Connect your accounts

  1. Open Marketing Studio → Social posts.
  2. Select Connect Meta accounts.
  3. Authenticate on Facebook and review the permissions displayed by Meta.
  4. Select the intended Page, and the Instagram account if you use one.
  5. Return to BrokeryHub and confirm the account names under Connected social accounts.
  6. Publish a non-sensitive test only after internal approval.

Permissions and data

The Meta authorization screen is the authoritative list of permissions. BrokeryHub requests access needed for Marketing Studio, such as identifying the Pages and Instagram accounts you manage, publishing content you choose to send, and reading its results.

For each connected account, BrokeryHub stores:

  • the Page or Instagram account identifier and name;
  • an access token, stored encrypted, and when it expires;
  • the permissions you granted;
  • audience numbers used in your results, such as followers and 28-day reach.

Authentication occurs with Meta; BrokeryHub does not need your Facebook password.

Real estate publishing responsibilities

Review property status, price, brokerage attribution, licence information, image rights, audience restrictions, and required disclosures. Never publish lead details or confidential client information.

Disconnect

  1. Open Marketing Studio → Social posts.
  2. Under Connected social accounts, remove the account.

BrokeryHub immediately and permanently deletes the stored connection, including its access token. Then open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations and remove BrokeryHub so Meta stops sharing data with it. Existing posts remain on Facebook and Instagram until separately deleted.

Delete your data

To have BrokeryHub delete all data it received from Meta for your account, email support@brokeryhub.com from your account email with the subject Meta data deletion and your name or brokerage. We confirm by email once it is done, within 30 days.

The privacy policy explains what else BrokeryHub keeps and for how long.
